Prochaska takes over the general agency of the British shredder manufacturer GreenMech

Golf machines, lawn mowers, compact tractors, battery-powered equipment, golf cars, and now NEW – shredders. For 70 years now, Prochaska has been impressing customers with its high-quality products for professional green space maintenance. This year, the range is being expanded to include shredders from the British and largest shredder manufacturer in Europe – GreenMech.

The extensive product range of the British shredder manufacturer GreenMech includes professional shredders for every conceivable application. Shredding work in gardening and landscaping, in road maintenance depots, on municipal or commercial green spaces, golf courses, sports fields or cemeteries can be completed quickly, reliably and cost-effectively with GreenMech shredders.

Six times longer sharp

GreenMech shredders are particularly impressive thanks to their innovative blade technology with round disc blades, which produce woodchippings in G30/G-50 quality. Imagine you could turn your worn car tires by a third in just a few simple steps, then tighten them again and then have full grip again. And you could even do it twice. So you could use your tires six times longer. Sounds unrealistic? GreenMech shredders with the patented disc blade system allow you to do just that. A positive side effect: the G30/G50-quality woodchippings produced during shredding can even be used for heating.

The quietest shredders in the world

GreenMech has been involved in the “buy quiet” campaign of the UK Occupational Health and Safety Authority since 2006. The aim is to significantly reduce the noise generated by forage harvesters for the machine operator and the environment without having to compromise on performance. Sophisticated technical innovations have ensured that GreenMech can offer what are probably the quietest wood chippers in the world, such as the Arborist series.

Safe working on sloping terrain

Professional shredding in steep, winding terrain is the specialty of tracked shredders from GreenMech. Thanks to their all-terrain drive, they can also reach hard-to-access locations. Thanks to the patented and award-winning SafeTrak technology developed by GreenMech, the SafeTrak 16-23 and SafeTrak 19-28 tracked shredders can even tackle slopes and embankments with an incline of up to 35 degrees.
